A tool for converting GPS Datalogger (click here for details) csv files into a format which can be imported into a number of common mapping products, for example Memory Map (click here for details) and Microsoft's Mappoint (click here for details) software. The tool creates csv type files which can be imported into the mapping applications using the applications own import filters and wizards. Download the free version (limited to 250 waypoints, and limited input and output formats) - Click here to download gps-tool-demo.exe. Try the GPS linked photographs, Bonsall Mines (Peak District - don't attempt to walk these without map and local knowledge), or in Scotland, McFarquhars Cave (watch the tides), a Circular walk round Cromarty or a few snaps from the Lake District. (Tip: Click on the thumbnails to enlarge, then click photo properties - top right). Requires Windows 98SE or greater. No need to install the tool is standalone. Just save to a folder or desktop.
